I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help!
A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: From whence shall my help come?
A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the hills [of Jerusalem]— From where shall my help come?
I will lift up my eyes to the hills [around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah]—From whence shall my help come?
A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
A song of ascents. I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from?
I raise my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from?
A song of ascents: If I raise my eyes to the hills, from where will my help come?
(A song for worship.) I look to the hills! Where will I find help?
A Song of degrees. I lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: whence shall my help come?
I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord.

A song to sing as we climb. As I travel, I look up towards the hills. I will find no help there.
